Wedding Fever

If you (like me) have wedding fever...here are some great blogs to check out.

1.  http://www.stylemepretty.com/

I LOVE this blog!  Warning: It is very addicting.
Here is one of my favorites that I found here.  Sigh...

2.  http://www.snippetandink.com/

Here is another favorite.  Check out the picture below ... Honeymoon stop there perhaps..?

3.  http://greenweddingshoes.com/

Isn't this is neat idea: Instead of the traditional guest book, this couple had a Polaroid Camera for guests to take a picture of themselves and then sign beside it.  Now if I only had a Polaroid...

Is your mouth watering right now?!?  Yum!

This was the first blog that I ever followed, and I love it!
This is one of my favorite table designs!

Enjoy!!  (but watch the clock, time goes fast!)

Our Engagement has been Documented

Taylor's dear cousin, Paige, came to visit this weekend from Kansas City.  While she was here, Taylor and I played model while Paige snapped some pictures of us being all in love ... and stuff...

I will be sure to post some pictures after Paige has edited them.  Here is a link to her website so that you can check out some of her other great work: http://www.paigesierra-photography.com/

We made stops at an old mansion, my grandmother's house, and the Opryland Hotel.  I can't wait to see all of her shots!  I know they will be amazing.

Love you Paige! Thanks a million : )

Checking Things off of the List

First of all...

I Have A Dress!!!  (or I will in 5 months)  I had previously looked at the White Room located in Murfreesboro, but this dress was the first I tried on in the Lebanon store.  I can't show a picture, but just know that it's beautiful!

Mom drove up from Madison, and we have been doing some major traveling.  We have gone back and forth from Nashville to the Boro to Lebanon to Nashville to Burns.  We visited our "cake lady" in Burns, TN.  Billie Mochow lives in a cute house that smells heavenly.  I could smell sweets from outside the house.  Yum....

My grandmother came with my mom and me to Buchanan and Ink where we place our order for invitations.  One of their calligraphers is going to design a special "G" for us.  I can't wait to see it!  One fun tidbit...the typeface for the invitation is called "Beautiful", that should tell you something about what it is going to look like!

I am currently on the lookout for bridesmaid dresses; so, if anyone stumbles across anything, feel free to give it a shout out!

About Two Weeks Down & About Thirty Two To Go

I am starting this blog to keep all of you, family and friends, up to date on what's going on!

Most of you know that Taylor proposed to me on December 28...and I said "yes!"
We have only been engaged for about two weeks, and we have gotten some things done.  Our venues have been booked, some vendors have been booked, and we have a date...AUGUST 20!

We are getting married in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nashville.  My Great Grandparents, Grandparents, and Parents were all married in this church, and I am thrilled to be apart of the tradition.  It is a beautiful church downtown with a huge mural of Jesus, beautiful stained glass, and two red doors.  Here is a picture of the back of the church.

Our Reception will be held at the beautiful Belle Meade Country Club.

Our photographer will be Mary Rosenbaum (http://www.maryrosenbaum.com/).  Taylor and I love her photographs.  Here is a picture she took of our friends Emily and Gregory.

As for our rockin' band...we will be jammin' to the Craig Duncan Band's 11 piece.  You can hear some of their tunes at www.craigduncan.net.

Everyone get excited!!  I know I sure am : )
